Canton Elks Lodge building with trees and clear blue sky.

Canton Elks Lodge 626 has been a fixture on W. Elm Street for generations, the kind of place where a neighbor becomes a friend over lunch and a Friday night band turns into a story you tell for years. With a 4.6-star rating across dozens of reviews, the Lodge earns that reputation the old-fashioned way: through people who actually show up and do the work.

The staff here are known for handling the moments that matter most. Families have trusted Lodge 626 to provide a dignified, professional luncheon after a funeral service, and the team delivers without a stumble. On livelier nights, the hall fills up for acts like Eddie's Broken Halo, and the crowd leaves talking about coming back. The bartender who went out of his way to help coordinate the Friendship Festival chicken noodle dinner is the kind of detail that tells you everything about this place.

Lodge 626 is chartered under the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a national organization with deep roots in charitable giving and community service. But walk through the doors on Elm Street and what you feel first is simply: this is a good room, run by good people.

"Great location for our Health Department I-Care fundraiser. Elks staff was great to work with. Tables & chairs where already set up in place when we arrived. All we had to do was set up our projector and computer for our Trivia Night program. Room has plenty of electrical outlets for our game players to plug in their chilli, dip and snacks for the evenings activities. We were able to adjust the lighting so all could view our slide show questions. Room was big enough to allow ample seating for 8 - 10 player teams, yet small enough to allow the MC to deliver necessary information throughout the evening. The Health Department is planning to put on other activities st this Elks Club facility."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
